Three of seven Colorado Supreme Court Justices are up for re-election (10-year terms): Maria Berkenkotter, Brian Boatright, and Monica Márquez. All seven justices were appointed by Democratic governors.
Colorado Appellate Court
Six of 22 appellate court judges are up for re-election: Stephanie Erin Dunn, Jerry N. Jones, W. Eric Kuhn, Anthony Navarro, Gilbert Roman, Timothy J. Schutz. Each judge is appointed by the governor from a list of names compiled by the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission. Initial terms last at least two years, after which justices must stand for retention in a yes-no election. Subsequent terms last eight years.

Amendment J - Repeal the Definition of Marriage in the Constitution, protecting marriage equality in Colorado
Amendment K - Modify Constitutional Election Deadlines
Amendment 79 – Enshrines abortion access as a constitutional right in Colorado and repeals the existing ban on state and local government funding for abortion services
Proposition JJ - Retain Additional Sports Betting Tax Revenue
Proposition KK - Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax

Proposition 127 - Prohibits hunting of mountain lions, lynx, and bobcats.
Proposition 129 - Adds a veterinary professional associate profession.
Proposition 130 - Changes the Colorado Revised Statute concerning state funding for peace officer training.

Proposition 131 - All candidate primary for Federal and State offices, with ranked choice voting
*The Mesa County Democrats support ranked choice voting but oppose the framing of this initiative. It has been endorsed by our Democratic Governor Jared Polis. It is opposed by the organization Western Colorado Alliance.
