Update from Communications Team
The Mesa County Dems have been busy the last couple of weeks!
We attended the second annual DemWest in Glenwood Springs at the historic Hotel Colorado (once called the Western White House when Teddy Roosevelt stayed there while exploring and conserving the West’s public lands). Democrats from across the Western Slope gathered with Colorado Democratic Party leaders, caucuses, councils, and primary candidates.
CDP Chair Shad Murib hosted a town hall at our office the next day, with 40+ locals hearing about new strategies for messaging and outreach.
Volunteers joined a group shift at Food Bank of the Rockies — the first of what we hope will be many opportunities to give back while building friendships.
📌 Next volunteer opportunity: September 6 at La Plaza’s Quemando Concert in Palisade. Contact us if you’d like to help!
Primary campaign season kicks off in September with candidates visiting the Grand Valley — many stopping at our office.
Alex Kelloff (CD3) has already hired a field organizer for Grand Junction.
In 2024, Mesa County topped CD3 counties for canvassing/campaigning for Adam Frisch — let’s keep it up!
